Payment Policy – Catering Affair
At Catering Affair, we provide secure and convenient payment options for all orders. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the following terms:
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following methods:
- Instant EFT: Pay directly from your bank account via integrated providers such as PayFast or Ozow for faster processing.
- Manual Bank Transfer (EFT): Payments can be made manually using your Order Number as the reference. Orders will be processed once funds reflect in our account (typically 24–48 hours).
- In-Store Payments: If collecting from our Midrand warehouse, we accept cash or card payments on-site.
2. Currency
All prices on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
3. Payment Security
All online transactions are handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
4. Billing Information
Please ensure that your billing information (name, address, and contact details) matches your payment method. Orders may be canceled if the information does not pass security checks.
5. Order Confirmation
After successful payment, you will receive an Order Confirmation Email with your tax invoice. If you do not receive this within an hour, check your spam folder or contact our support team.
6. Deposits for Custom Equipment
For custom items (e.g., mobile trailers or modular containers), a 50% deposit may be required to start production. The remaining balance is due before delivery or collection, as outlined in your quotation.
7. Late Payments (Credit Accounts Only)
Unless a credit account has been approved, all orders must be paid in full before dispatch. Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month on the outstanding balance for approved accounts.
